Just asking, we have had several succesful outings where slot Redfish are the target with a live weigh in just like the boat division. Don't know about other venues but it has worked well for the Texas coast with very low mortality rate.

Would you do a live weighin in a 40" bull red? Thats either a really big tank or a tough pull on a stringer bro! It would be cool to see the fish though!

I agree with Vincent, would like to see the offshore/surf part removed.

Agreed! No surf or jetty fishing please. Bull reds caught inshore are fair game though!

I'm sure Tombo is thinking of slot reds, live weigh in of two slots like the boats do. I always wondered why the kayaks are doing one trout one red. I dont mind the format though, I do like CPR tournaments plus it makes it alot easier on the tournament hosts in these two day formats.

Yes, slot Reds. Just a thought. Many of us have participated in live weigh in tournements in Texas so its not something new.

Live slot reds would be cool, but I would hate to see trout taken out if the mix.
